You can help support our journey towards bringing Parable of the Sower to life.
This project is independently produced, and your support enables us to pursue bold and new ways of realizing our vision and sharing it with communities. It’s urgent. We have to do this now — this is the perfect narrative to address our times.

Parable of the Sower lives at a rare convergence of theater, opera, afro-futurism, race and gender, feminism, and climate activism. It embodies 200 years of Black song traditions, capturing the profound act of community building that is the hallmark of such a legacy. It adapts one of the seminal novels of a writer whose work is on the cusp of a renaissance; It wrestles with a possible future not so far from now that speaks urgently to our current circumstances and haunts us with its prescience. It uses song, both joyful and heart-wrenching, to bind us together in purpose even as it seeks to release us from fear.

Thank you for believing in us. Thank you for joining our community.
